3 Valleys Gospel Choir are ‘live’ at Chatburn Methodist Church on Friday 12th June 2015.
After last year’s performance in the proms, 3VGC return for another evening of uplifting music. Their programme includes amazing renditions of traditional African songs, and then will transport the audience to the gospel songs of the slaves in the American deep-south which will include the rhythms and vocal harmonies of the music that is the foundation of jazz, blues and soul, and has such a huge influence over all modern music.
The Three Valleys Gospel Choir will perform at Chatburn Methodist Church at 7.30 pm on 12th June. Tickets are £8 including refreshments and are available from Roy Porter Butchers or by calling 01254 384893. All proceeds go to the church.
